As a sensory activity- bring out the play dough and have the kids make dino foot prints

Teach the kids about eggs and how some dinosaurs may have come from eggs.  I cracked a few shells prior and washed them out knowing the kids would want to feel the shells.

As a craft activity, the kids made their own volcanos.  Materials we used were paper plates for the base, brown tissue paper, glue and snow cone cups.

The eruption! We used whip cream instead of shaving cream. The kids had fun pouring the red food coloring to make lava.

The temptation!

Too strong to resist :)

Dino's and rice. I know it looks messy but this was a calming activity. The room was totally quiet except for the sound of rice being transfered from bucket to pail/floor and such.
