This was a quick no sew project. I used three 7FT PVC pipes, duck tape and fabric to construct. 
Taped all three pieces together to form base.

Tweezers or Grabbers- Fine Motor Development  Learning Resources Gator Grabber Tweezers- They are great teethers for your younger toddlers and great fine motor builders for your older ones. A great toy for the family to share. We use them for counting and sorting activities. $11 Musical Bells  Schylling Mhb Set of 8 Musical Hand Bells for Children Here for $35 but Toys r us sell a different brand for $15. They sound beautiful and the kids really enjoy them. Educational Insights Design and Drill Activity Center  Retails for $40. We bought ours at a yard sale for $1. I would pay the $40 for this. All 3 kids actively use this skill builder. Even my 11 month old. She loves unscrewing the bolts! I drilled four holes through it and fastened it to our playroom wall. Color Challenge Learning Center  This is one of my personal favorites. The kids are totally into it and a great learning tool. Found our at a yard sale for $1 but would pay the $30 for it new after seeing the educational value. Cranium Cariboo Board Game Expanded Edition Magical Treasure Hunt  Found this amazing game at a yard sale for .50 to find that it is no longer made. Ebay sells for $30 to $120 Keep a look out for this one. It's a keeper for ages 1.5 to 4 Plan Toy Miracle Pounding  Found ours at a yard sale for $1. Really great toy!.. Screwed this one to the wall too. Retails for $30 try to find a better price for this one. Big Wheel!  All time kid favorite! Don't try to pimp out with a better brand. Best part of these plastic wheels is that they spin out! We use ours indoors. Found it for $25 at Walmart the day after Christmas. Retails for $60 Mega Fun Factory  Certainly don't spend $120 for this but if you can find it for $20 or less, It's great toy! It occupied 20 campsites at our campground this year. Hours of play! Picked ours up at a yard sale for $3 Just a paint job away and my window sill book cases will be complete. This was a quick DIY project sure to spruce up and organize your kids bedroom space! I used wide frame molding and L brackets to build. Total cost was $10. 
Start with having them blow the feather on the ground. Then have them blow the feather with a straw. For older ones, it can be a feather race game. Finally, bring out the big blowing guns (hair dryers). Have them blow the feathers across the room. We used dryers with a cool setting.    Hung feathers from the ceiling and had the kids blow them with straws. As an extended activity, I had them tape several straws together to form a big straw. While laying on the floor, they had to blow their feathers with their long straws.
 Music note collage art. Just pre-cut a music sheet and let the kids paste it to a colored sheet. We also used music stickers.

We made some black playdough and had the kids make spiders for art today. Here's George and mom acting scared. This spider was George's creation!
 Taped paper to the floor and had her paint with dot paints. They're not as messy. She got excited about this one. Check out the deal you get with Oriental Trading. for .51 more you get 4 trays instead of 1. Even better the 4 trays are color suited, as a second function you them for color sorting activities. Oriental has the better buy
 Turkey trot and Turkey yoga. The kids have a blast going fast, slow, hopping, running in place like a turkey
 This took 15 minutes to make. It's the Ikea Expedit Shelving unit turned into a Race Car. Just cut up some construction paper and tape to the sides.  Can't wait to see what other fun transportation themes we can come up with now the idea is born! Looking for ideas on Birthday decor. This decal took 20 minutes to make. I covered it in clear contact paper so it could last several play sessions. Still need to add his jet pack but love the way it's coming out. My boys are totally into Turbo Snails right now.  Turbo! Also a good lesson for preschool age children  Sleep Tight theme this week. I covered our hallway entrance with long black fabric. Here we did shadow shows and played with all sorts of fun light up toys.
Teaching sounds can be fun with these vienna sausage cans.  Only .50 cents each Remove Sausages, label, rinse and let dry .
No wonder Pinatas are such a hit at parties. Kids love whacking things. Here's a safer alternative to that dreaded stick used on pinatas. Use Paper towel dowels instead. We duck tape ours with fun colors. Best part is you can hang what ever you want to match the theme of your party/lesson/play date. Use duck tape to suspend all strings from ceiling. It holds up best.
 One of my favorite spring time activities. Print out fly images, cover in clear shelving liner, tie a string and hang from the ceiling. The kids swat the flies with fly swatters.  Here's the image I used for our flies Here's a great recipe for making your own bubbles at home.  6 cups water, 1 cup Karo Syrup, 2 cups Joy dish soap. 
 This is a must try. It's the simplest thing to make and the kids are totally into it. These anchor socks are played with for a week straight now. I initially created them for our sailing the mayflower activity but they deserve to be highlighted on their own. How to Make: A sock, stuff with newspaper and tied shut with long string.  They practice throwing the anchor in buckets, they drag the buckets around with the anchors (caught a big fish), they catch each other with the anchors, anchors get landed on square taped to floor with painters tape and anchors get a parade walk. Very surprised by how much action this simple DIY toy gets.
Created these flower magnets for our spring program. They really brightened up the room and the kids love them! They also act as a learning tool to teach about colors and textures.  Here's what you'll need to make them
 Metal can from soup or vegetables 12-14 OZ. Remove the lid with one of those openers that doesn't leave rough edges. Use the lid as your base to hold magnets on one side and flower on other side. Deconstruct the flower and glue each piece back together with hot glue gun. Glue back section first to the lid and rebuild your flower piece by piece from there using the glue. Adhere the magnets to the back using the mounting tape. Cut the tape around the magnet to form the shape of magnet.
Play Date Idea Looking to host a play date with activities for the kids? Or do you have a shop that runs fun classes for kids? Host or run a Pinterest play date. As a host, have 3 other moms (that should be your cap) bring one activity for all kids attending (2-5). Each mom will chose the kid activity from a Pinterest board. I started hosting these once a month at my house and they are a lot of fun for moms and kids. You can be a tried and tested expert :) As a shop, you choose one activity a week, "Pinterest Activity of the week". It's sure to be a hit. Create a Pinterest under your shops name. Our 20ft long ABC run. This is a great activity to learn ABC's and get out lot's of energy. You can sing the ABC song slow or real fast. You can also have the kids land on certain letters. Start with a fun set up displaying any dinosaurs you have 
 Get a big pumpkin, several little pumpkins, tie string to a magnet and then tie to a wooden dowel. And let the pumpkin fishing begin!
